Much the same way how the skin is the external covering for our body, the skins in the concept of the PSP do the same. My personal favorite is the "Bullet" . Providing a dynamic look to a piece which is as dynamic as it gets, the Bullet skin gives my Play station a lot of attitude. If you get a chance to carry your PSP with you, you must do it with the Bullet skin as the looks make you feel you are the king. Coming a close second to the Bullet is the Superstar. This skin is the contrast of the Bullet skin. While the Bullet skin provides a very good contrasting look to the PSP console, the Superstar gives the PSP a very comforting look. The Superstar blends in a such a casual manner with the PSP console that if you look from outside you would have no idea about the fun which is in store for you. The sleek blend of light blue and grayish shades just present an attractive look to the PSP.
I have plenty of more skin shades that I can choose from, but if you wake me up from sleep and ask me which are my favorites , I will say the Bullets and Superstar. You can choose your own skin depending on your preferences and choices.
Just remember the PSP skin is not representative of how the PSP is. It is only an outer display to the PSP which according to some can be a style icon and according to others can be a state of mind.
